SCP Group (China) in Shenzhen, China created the largest glow-in-the-dark painting measuring 104.18 m² (1,121 ft² 55 in²). The painting measures 21.09 m (69 ft 2 in) in length and 4.94 m (16 ft 2 in) in width and it consists of 20 canvases attached to each other. 66 kg of paint (water based fluorescent solvent) was used for the painting. Each painting was done by 200 participants between March 10, 2012 and March 19, 2012 in 10 shopping malls managed by SCP Group in 10 different cities, with a view to promote the Earth Hour on 31 March 2012 with the picture “Deeply in Love with the Earth”.
